Summary
Without signing in, AnyUs keeps your widgets, doodles, special days and lists on your iPhone only. If you sign in with Apple or Google to share with your partner or to keep your widgets on a new phone, your widgets, special days, together lists and calendar events (with the photos added to them) are stored on our server and shared only with the members of your couple. The account is shared with our AnySchedule app. To improve the app, it sends anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, without the advertising identifier, to Google Firebase (you can turn this off in Settings). There is no advertising, and we sell nothing. Rele Company ("we," "us," or "our") operates the AnyUs app.
1. Information Stored on Your Device
Widget names, doodles (the parts and colors you pick), your start day, special days, together lists, any names you type, Home Screen widget designs (including their photos and videos), and settings such as theme, appearance and Lock Screen style are stored in the app's storage on your iPhone. The Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets and the Dynamic Island only read this information on the same device. If you don't sign in, none of it is sent to us. Deleting the app, or "Erase all data" in Settings, deletes it from the device.
2. Your Account (Optional)
Sharing with your partner and keeping your widgets on a new phone work only when you sign in. Everything else works without an account. When you sign in, we receive:
- Sign-in information: the user identifier Apple or Google gives us, your email address (Apple's relay address if you choose Hide My Email) and your name if provided. To revoke Sign in with Apple when you delete your account, we keep the token Apple issues, encrypted.
- Device information: a random identifier the app creates for each installation, the device type (iPhone or iPad), language, app version, and a push token for the notifications that tell your phone your partner changed something.
- One account: this is the same account as our AnySchedule app. Signing in to AnySchedule with the same Apple or Google account opens the same account, and a couple made in AnyUs shows there as a partner calendar.
3. Sharing with Your Partner (When Signed In)
- What we store: widgets (name, doodle choices, start day, special days), together lists, the events on your couple calendar (title, date and time, repeat, reminders, place, memo, color) and the photos added to them. Home Screen widget designs and their photos and videos, typed names, theme, appearance and Lock Screen style stay on each device.
- In AnySchedule too: your couple calendar shows as a partner calendar in our AnySchedule app for the same account, where its events and photos can be seen and changed as well.
- Who can see it: only the members of your couple can read and change it. Your partner can join only through the invitation link or code you send, and the invitation shows the inviter's name.
- Where: on servers we run on Cloudflare (Workers and D1). Traffic between your device and the server is encrypted with HTTPS, and we don't look at the content except when needed to run the service (syncing, fixing errors).
- Signing out removes the account's widgets, lists, events (with downloaded photos) and Home Screen widget designs from this device. Your data stays on the server and comes back when you sign in again.
- Disconnecting from your partner moves a copy of the widgets and lists to a space of your own; the couple's data stays with the remaining members.
4. Retention and Deletion
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Account › Delete account. Because it is the same account as AnySchedule, it is deleted there too.
- Deleting removes your account, sign-in and device information and the data of any space only you used, and revokes Sign in with Apple. A space you shared with your partner is handed over to your partner, who can keep using it.
- Server cleanup after a deletion request usually finishes within an hour. Records of deleted items are kept for up to 90 days for syncing and then removed.
5. Doodle Codes
A doodle code is a short text holding only your doodle's choices (part numbers and colors). It goes only through the app you pick (Messages and so on); we never receive it.
6. Photos (Add Only)
The app asks for add-only Photos access only when you tap "Save to Photos" for a polaroid, wallpaper or profile picture. It only adds the image it made and never reads your library. Photos and videos you choose for a Home Screen widget are stored on the device only and never sent to our server. When you are signed in and add a photo to an event, the photo you choose in the system photo picker is resized to a JPEG of at most 1,600 pixels on its long side, its location and camera details (EXIF) are removed, and it is uploaded so the members of your couple can see it. Taking a photo off an event detaches it from that event only (AnySchedule may use the same photo on another event or in its photo collection). Photos in the couple's space are kept and deleted with that space, as in section 4.
7. Notifications
Reminders the day before a special day or anniversary, and event reminders, are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. While you share with your partner, we send silent notifications through the Apple Push Notification service so your phone fetches your partner's changes; they carry only a value that identifies the couple and a change number, never widget or list content. When your partner connects, you may get a "Connected with …" notification.
8. Data Used to Improve the App
We receive the following through Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. It is not linked to your account, name or email, does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
- Anonymous usage statistics: events such as finishing setup steps, screens opened, using features (editing a doodle, ticking a list item, adding a special day or a widget), whether and how many widgets are on the Home Screen or Lock Screen, theme and appearance, and whether you are signed in or connected with a partner. Widget names, doodles, dates, list content, typed names, doodle codes and invitation codes are never sent.
- Crash reports: diagnostic information when the app quits unexpectedly, such as device model, iOS version, app version, where the error happened and the runtime environment.
- Device identifier: a random identifier Firebase creates for each app installation (it changes if you delete the app).
- Approximate region: the country or city Google Analytics estimates from your IP address. GPS and Location Services are not used.
Turning off Settings › Support › "Share usage statistics" stops both statistics and crash reports and deletes crash reports not yet sent. Google's practices are at firebase.google.com/support/privacy. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
What We Don't Collect
- Photos, videos or precise location (GPS or Location Services) in statistics or crash reports — photos you add to an event are stored on our server only when you are signed in, to share them with your couple (section 3)
- The advertising identifier (IDFA) or cross-app tracking data
- Widget, doodle, special-day, list and event content, or contact details, when you are not signed in
9. Service Providers and International Transfers
These companies process information on our behalf. Their servers may be outside your country (for example, in the United States).
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): storing and processing account and couple data (sections 2 and 3) for as long as you keep your account
- Google LLC (USA): anonymous statistics and crash reports (section 8) and Google Sign-In (section 2)
- Apple Inc. (USA): Sign in with Apple (section 2) and push notifications (section 7)
We share or sell nothing else.
10. Use of Google Sign-In Data
When you sign in with Google, we receive only your Google user identifier, email address and name, to create and recognize your account. We use them only for signing in and showing your account, never for advertising, and we don't transfer them to others. AnyUs's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
11. iCloud Sharing in Earlier Versions
Versions before the November 2026 update shared with your partner through iCloud (Apple CloudKit). The updated app no longer sends anything to iCloud. Shared data stored in iCloud then is kept by Apple, and you can delete it in iPhone Settings › your name › iCloud.
12. Children
AnyUs can be used without signing in. Children under 13 should not sign in without a parent's consent. The anonymous statistics in section 8 do not identify a person.
13. Changes
When this policy changes we update the "Last Updated" date above. Changes to how data is handled are announced with an app update.
